This is entry for the FLASH DUELING TOURNAMENT CONTEST, an actionscript contest on deviantArt.
The theme was fire, and this is my try.
The Web is just overfull with the so called 'particle fire' tutorials and source codes. I used that method for the matchstick fire, but I wanted to do something else...
I developed this, cartoon-like fire, with the sweet BlurFilter from the set of new features, in the flash8...
I think it looks pretty sweet... and you? ;)
*Ok when the file loads, click the match, then hold the mouse down and scratch the match onto the scratchArea on the matchbox, light up the FireFella and flyAway...
*And don't whine about noMusic in this one... just put your favourite song in your favourite audio player and cruise through space ;P
