After 2 months, episode 4 is now finished.
Sorry for keeping you all waiting. Truth be told I just couldn't be arsed to work on this for the first month since episode 3. Thanks to all of those who have been patient. (and I guess the non patient ones as well. =\ ). I just hope I made it worth the wait.
Thanks to Shadefalcon with some of the custom Koopa bros sprites.
Also, you can now skip dialogue using the Spacebar. (Thanks to Psycosis91 for the actionscript assistance).
This episode will be the last flash I make using Flash MX 2004. I will be using Flash 8 professional from now on, so I can't wait to try out the advanced features on episode 5.
Well anyway. I hope you enjoy this latest installment of SUPER MARIO BROS Z!!!

Oh...my...f'in...god...
That has to be the best flash work I have ever seen yet! This totally blew my expections out of the water! What an adrenaline rush! I'm not kidding, I'm still shaking XD. You've really captured the face-paced DBZ battle scenes. Actually, yours are even faster. ;P I liked that you've brought back the Koopa Bros. They were my favourite boss on Paper Mario. Everything was perfect, I could not have put everything together better myself. It's like you know exactly what I want to see and happen at every moment. Awesome job, dude.

This was absolutely incredible...
I loved this episode so much. The backstory for Sonic and Shadow was superb but I am kinda sad that everybody in Mobius was possibly killed. The Koopa Bros. intro was hilarious and the fight was one of your best yet. It's great to see Luigi finally kick some ass! Keep it up man, I eagerly await the next episode!
Yeah. I wanted Sonics backstory to be a bit darker compared to the main story. Plus I wanted an excuse to not include Sonics friends in the story. (Too many characters).
But i'm glad you enjoyed the humour too. I was trying hard not to laugh at the Koopa bros intro myself when I was testing my animation. XD
I hope you enjoy the future episodes.

Yay, I got it in the portal
After working for 6 hours straight, you finally finished it. here goes my review.
Graphics : you use the Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga with ease, and make them battle like no tomorrow. Great uses of backgrounds and V-Cam movements. It IS perfect.
Sounds : sounds everywhere, perfectly synced, voices from the original games.
Interactivity : remember how it was annoying to wait for the text to disappear during long talking-scenes?. Now, you have to press space the skip the textbox. Way to go Alvin! Also, Interactive credits, i like it.
Violence : Characters get beaten up roughly, get thrown on wall, on the ground, literally destroy the surrounding. Wow. Violent. O_O. 10/10
Humor : Some parts with the Koopa Bros are rather funny. But thats all.
Overall:
I think you know it already, but I simply LOVE it. You are now officially my favourite NG author. This will most likely get in the top 50. And stay for long.

Perfect.
Just the right amount of dialogue and action. No flaws on this flash at all. Best battle I've seen in a long time. Glad to see this series is still running strong. Can't wait until the next episode. Keep up the great work.
