This is my first tutorial. Do not be fooled by its size. File is small because it does not contain sound, and it doesn't contain sound because I think that tutorials should be as small as possible. It's easy to import music in flash, but some people have slow connections. TO COPY CODE, CLICK AT IT instead of selecting it. Tutorial is about preloaders, but it also contains some general programming instructions. Since English is not my first language, feel free to report any spelling\grammar errors, and also any other errors. edit: improved layout a bit, and corrected some minor mistakes.

this is by far, the best tutorial i have ever seen. this rocks. im going to put this on sp with your permission, and if you wont (not saying its mine though.) youre the best tut maker ive seen! it helped me so much!!!!!!

Thank you for your opinion. I also support people who value good explanation over number of megabytes (which is usually achieved by adding huge audio file). Yeah that's how it got blamed first time.

The graphics for this were a lot better than some other tutorials, and it would be extremely helpful if I was planning to make a flash cartoon in the near future. But I'll probably forget all I learned form this. Yep, there it goes.
Thank you for your opinion and for high rating. I'll probably make another, more general ActionScript tutorial one day.

That Helped a lot but the copy and past thing is wierd, might as well make it a text box so ppl can manulally copy adn paste cuz i get wierd symbols when i pasted that code into notepad
