VERSION 2 (new ending, fixed bugs etc)

I made this entirely using flash, no photoshop or anything else

PLEASE make sure you view this using the latest flash player otherwise it may not display properly

Music is 'Ramparts' by John Frusciante

there is a story to it, it goes something like this:

at the beginning the owl is looking at the sky, and sees a star die. Then the owl takes flight, travels through space and replaces the star, pretty simple really :P

PS- the audio is syncing up properly now!

To ask what everyone else is afraid of asking...

...great flash man, but when are we gonna get to see you nude? Come oooonn...just one frame of animation of you fully nude in a pool of jelly slipped in with the rest; that's all I ask!!

Great atmosphere

4/5

You created a very nice atmosphere and feeling with your animation. It looked beautiful and the music you chose fit the scene well. My only complaint would be the speed of some of the objects and backgrounds. The stars in the night sky and the rocks on the ground were moving too fast and it took me right out of it. With a few tweaks here and there, this would be a 5. Great work.

i know what you mean with the scene with the rocks movng too fast, im not happy with it and im working on fixing it

Outfuckinstanding

I'll break it down:

Graphics 10-simply amazing for only using flash, great use of shadows.

Style 10-very smooth, excellent transition between scenes

Sound 8-The only reason I didn't give 10 was I wasn't really feeling the song, but the quality was great

Violence 0-But it really wasn't meant to be violent so ignore this score

Interactivity 10-Had a play and replay buttons that all I ask for from a movie

Humor 0-Wasn't meant to be funny so ignore this score as well

Overall 10-Quality work here definately getting added to my favorites.

Keep up the good work.

Stunning

This is a beautiful piece. It's starts realistic and becomes very abstract. Good choice of music too.

Great job.
