FAQ and Strategy Guide: http://tinyurl.com/s7u6c

I finally release my first game, Super Smash Flash! Play as 28 different characters in Multi-man Melee, Target Test, Adventure, Classic, All-Star and more! So have fun! (I recommend a decent computer to run this game.)

Other Info:

-topcat13 is the one who created the characters Blade and Blue.
-Do not yell at me for not putting in EVERY single character from SSBM, I have my reasons.
-If you don't like the gameplay, at least cut me some slack since I'm only 16 and it's my first real game.
-You can't play team battles without at least one member on 2 or more of the teams.
-Player 1 is required for V.S. Battles
-I find it quite entertaining to watch CPU's battle it out to see who's best, try it!
-All Credit Info is already in the SWF

Good

It was a cool game and it was fun. It's a lot more different from the Nintendo version of super smash bros. Kinda' tough, but still a cool game to play.

good try butt

I'd really like to see more with this. As it stands, there are just too many glitches and problems for me to say it's great, but it probably wouldn't take too much to fix them and then update your submission.

I played classic as Link and there were a couple things that made it unplayable. The first thing I noticed was the fact that he had the same sound for every time he jumped. And then on the break the targets part, the same "Heyagh" played over and over and it really got annoying. In the game, I think they gave him a little grunt and I think you could've gotten by with that as it's not as long and doesn't stand out that much.

The second thing, that really hurt the platforming aspects, was the fact that when you turned left and right, your sprite image shifted position, noticeably enough to fall or land off/on and platform unintentionally. It made maps with platforms built in it (a lot of maps) much more frustrating.

The controls are intuitive enough, the gameplay was fun enough, and you really did a good "port" of the game with your artwork for the maps and your usage of sprites.

It's just not as great as it could be, in my opinion. It needs some serious tweaking, then it could be really good. Decent enough job as is. You get a 6/10, slightly above average.

Amazing!

This game is pure programming GOLD! I've just started using flash to make games, I've been doing videos for a while, but I just now got into game programming, and I have to say, I am amazed with how well you put this game together! And as for the game play itself, Very fun, very flashy, I like it. I like the way you put it together, purely amazing! Thanks for this amazing contribution!

ehhhhhh

I gave you a 5/5 and a 9/10. The reason it wasn't the constant 10, was because I've always known it's not a good idea to make a flash game off of a console game, noone can pull it off. However, this is the best attempt I've ever seen. (and unfortunately I've witnessed many) I enjoyed playing it and I have to admit it's very detailed and well crafted, but there are still many, many flaws which I would expect and cannot complaine about. Some example of flaws if your into editing it, would be that when running on the Melee platform map, there's alot of sliding back and forth, and when hurled off the edge, it's almost always impossible come back to the platform, though your enemies seem to do it alot easier. Another is the race to the finnish map, I got through it in a breeze but I had no clue that patch of grass was the finish, I mean the entire map was already grass,

Ah well, either way it was very good and I'm glad to see an brilliant flash artist such as yourself.
