Very very very nice.
But the AI has a few issues and once you have the cash for invisibility+a decent weapon youve pretty much got it all.
The ships are great, Assonater is my favourite, because it goes well with my tactics. But they are slightly unbalanced. It would be great if they had a few more differences, but oh well, they are still really good IMHO.
But really serious lag at times. I was at one stage shouting "SHOOT! SHOOT! SHOOT GODAMNIT SHOOT!" at my computer as a ship got away because my gauss launcher was lagged. Big battles are hard enough without the cursor dancing around the screen refusing to fire. Also....the weapons are great, especially the expensive ones (of course;), but, dare I say it, there could be a few more at around the 2K to 3K mark. Plus a bit of balancing.
But still a seriously fun game. One of my favorite NG games.
