The guy below...
Is being pretentious. Music is all about interpretation and how we see it (search for "The Maxwell Edison Story" for more on that). Just because the Gorillaz wouldn't make an animation like this or interpret the song this way doesn't mean you yourself shouldn't (or that other people claim you aren't a fan because you do), and I think you did a wonderful job. I enjoyed watching this very much, and I thought the animation was crisp and clean. Hopefully you got a good grade on that final.

Not Good
Listen anyone who is a big Gorillaz fan like me would know that Danger mouse and the Gorillaz would never make a video for: Fire Coming out Of A monkeys head. And even if they did it would look nothing like this. Your animation is good but its not even related to the real story behind that song. Its not about a bunch of bouncy smiley men, its about you and I. WE ARE THE HAPPY FOLK. Whatever. I think your a good animater but I wouldnt have done A Gorillaz Song If I were you because you obviously dont really know what this songs about. Another thing I want To bring Up is The Lip sync. Its awful. You really cant match 2-Ds vocals can you? Oh well. Youve got good animation Talent man but steer away from Gorillaz videos.
Well I know I could never produce something along the lines of an actual Gorillaz video. Those are done professionally and my video was done by me, an amateur making my first flash video. Also, what's wrong with keeping the video figurative along with the lyrics?

Well done!
Great job! The only complaint I have is why one of the happy folk was singing. I think having the band there instead would be bitter. Just my opinion though.
I originally wanted to animate 2D singing it with Noodle playing the guitar.. but I had to scrap it to get it done within the due date.
