it was an alright sprite tutorial. it was pretty simple, but sometimes all it needs to be is simple.
Happy belated Clock Day everyone! I couldn't get this on here for Clock Day (not that it's a Clock Flash anyhow) as I was working to revamp this and make it a bit more Newgrounds worthy.
I wanted to add a Newgrounds Preloader to this flash, however I yesterday I lost the .fla file, making that pretty well impossible at this point.
Anyway, in this tutorial you will get a basic understanding of how sprites work in Flash, and how to make them work for you. Enjoy!

Decent Tut
Well notbad on the tutorial, but it could have an improved look like the menu, buttons and sleeker design, something that standsout and really gets the people interested, its notbad and i hope it helps some people.

...A VERY POOR TUTORIAL...
Well, this was very poor tutorial, sorry. The graphics and style were awful. I like the Mission: Impossible theme muisc, but this was loud and annoying. It made my computer start chugging when it started getting into the main beat. The white background was boring, and so was the font. You can really imrove.

I'm sorry you see it this way. The Mission: Impossible Theme did not turn out the way I wanted, though I find it very strange that it would cause a computer to slow down...
Lastly. a background would have been a nice final touch. However, once again, the example video was my first ever flash animation (it was never submitted to Newgrounds on its own) and I wanted to use it as an example of a crappy flash animation.
Anyway, check out my 3 new sprite flashes, "The BTA Collection" (Co-Authored by Cocololap) as well as my "Tribute to Cdn. Soldiers" flash, and you can see that I've come a long way since submitting this.

bad
no background, no screenshots, no main menu button, and if you played the movie, there was no way to get out of it and you had to wait

I'm sorry you feel that way. This flash actually got a really good response when I gave it a trial run at my school. Clashes of styles I suppose.
However, I do agree with you (although your wording could have been a bit less blunt). A background and return button are needed in the movie portion. Should I manage to recover the Master of this tutorial, I will set out to do that.
Boo!
That was one of the worst things I have ever seen.
It didn't even have a background!
Really? One of the worst things ever you say?
I understand that this is no GAMECUBICLE tutorial, but worst thing ever? Give me a little bit of credit (especially because the movie part was intentionally flawed).
