Sidescrolling clock-themed shooter with Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, Defend the Base, and Team Deathmatch modes. Inspired heavily by Soldat. Similar to a sideways Counter-Strike. I put well over a hundred hours into this getting it as polished as possible considering the deadline! Happy Clock Day everyone! I just barely made it :P.

Good Soldat-type game
This is a good attempt at Flashinating Soldat. Some criticisms:
* A wider field of view would have helped a lot, even if it meant smaller characters. Most of the time I got killed by opponents who weren't on the screen. Also, the narrow field of view limits the usefulness of weapons like the sniper rifle.
* It seemed the computer flag carrier was damn near invincible. Several times I unloaded both a rocket and a grenade into the flag carrier and he seemed unharmed. I did not notice getting similar protection when I had the flag (a single rocket being more than enough to do me in).
* As others have mentioned, the computer almost never misses. This limits the playability of deathmatch considerably. (Although, I seem to remember this being an issue with Soldat, as well, so maybe it's intentional.)
Thanks for the review. This is definitely the sort of review I'm interested in. Healthy constructive criticism :P
* I might need a wider field of view, sure. In fact, before I made the more advanced engine (where they had body parts and not just bodies and code based animation) they were about half this size, though the ammo still moved at the same speed. I've got a map being made for the game currently that's huge, so I'll probably have to shrink everything for it anyway.
* I haven't noticed this, and there's no code in there to make it any harder for you to kill him. That said, a rocket only does so much damage (90 pts + 1-20 extra) so its conceivable a single rocket wouldn't finish them off. But really that grenade should have finished him. It's possible you might have hit the ground and not the character with one or the other, though.
* Well, the computers aim isn't perfect. He aims at a random point about 50 pixels square around you. At one point I had this larger, but it seemed too easy. I'll have to mess with this more, or possibly give them delayed reactions like I did in CC Fight Club.
Thanks for the review!
