This is my first game and submission to NG. Hope you all like it. :)
The objective is simple: escape the evil research facility Helltowers with your life.
Note: There are prisoners to save in this game, but I omitted their dialog and any interaction with them in this version to quickly get it finished. This doesn't effect beating the game though.

EDIT:
Here are some tips for the difficult parts:
- Always shoot repeatedly and fast (especially with the Zappers).
- When you dodge, you can double tap the up key and it will always work.
- Save up HV ammo for the 2 lower levels (purple and dark areas).
- Don't waste EX ammo on Zappers (you'll likely miss and waste the few EX ammo there is).
- When shooting Zappers, wait till they get to their highest point and hit them twice.
- Use HV ammo on Zappers if you have any (you'll destroy them in 2 hits).
- If you can't beat a Zapper coming after you, walk out of the screen (if you can) and come back.
- EX ammo is useful if you're being attacked from both sides and you want to quickly dipose of one or both enemies.
If you follow these tips you should be able to beat the game in 3 or 4 tries. :)

well now for a first flash...
for a first flash that is quite a good game ive seen people submit there first flashes dont get put on front page and get blammed straight away like one guy put 4 in the same day they all got blammed at round about the same time, anyway but this isnt really my type of game when you shoot it takes a while to move again theres no skill really required in this the graphix are good but the background.... anyway well done and ill leave it at that

GAME ROCKS hope you make more games
Its a pretty good game but you need to add some music in the back ground and probly put more blood besides that the graphics and every thing rocks.

great game man but a bit slow from shooting to moving and joat lol man first off all u use A MAC i mean A MAC like its good that they have a lifting thing on the top so u can bind a chain to it and USE IT AS A BOAT ANCHOR! of btw good game

Cool
The graphics are really astonishing, the gameplay is simple and smooth BUT I cant play this game because I can't shoot with CTRL because on my mac this key is used for opening up the menu: You are privating mac users of playing your game...That's why I cant vote on your submission until you send an other version. Thanks
