MARIO GETS MASSIVE
(for a contest at VGDC)
As I've already said, THIS IS FOR A CONTEST. This isn't stolen. The contest? New Super Mario Bros. "Mega Mushroom" contest. I think I'm the one person out of 50 who chose 8-bit graphics.
The contest gives permission to use the VGDC intro. Randy Solem posts a link to the fla. file on the VGDC forums for all who enter the contest to use.
I whipped this up in a little more than a week, but don't judge it too quickly. I tried to use the same 8-bit graphic usage quality as the Super Mario Bros series (Parts I - V). I editted lots of sprites, made my own grass and completely remade the elements of the last NSMB level in NES sprites. That took a reeeeeally long time. Please vote fairly.

Cool
wow this was a really well thought out nd funny movie. it was very original and i hope htois gets front page. the custom 8Bit graphics were also unique :)

Loved it. Never thought of Mario like that. Really hope you win that contest because you really deserve it.

A very good piece of work.
You have managed to use 8-bit sprites and made them look new again. That is quite remarkeable! Although, an improvement in humor would be better.
Well, I tried pretty hard at the humor, but I can't find something everyone likes.
