The Sixth of August has rolled around again, and I have decided to finally submit my latest Flash movie, “Forever Autumn.” The movie follows a man who is trying to comes to terms with the death of his wife, who has been killed by a nuclear blast.

While not intentionally done so on my part, this movie could be seen as either a sequel to “Bright Eyes” or a prequel to “Deliverance,” but not both.

Seeing your earlier works and seeing this, you have definately improved over the years. I can't wait to see your next work. Bright Eyes and Deliverance were my favorites, along with this jewel.

Attempted Translation and a Response!

Some people are confused about the car and the guy surviving the nuclear war.
1. The guy was on a business trip. (Maybe?)
2. The two airplanes were heading to drop nukes on the city. (Not so much.)
3. The car dies due to a lack of gas or to the effects of an EMP. (The first)
4. The guy is the nuked city is recalling when he arrived. (Not so much.)
4. There was no violence because the movie did not require it. (Sure!)
5. There was no animation. (No animation is good animation!)
6. There was no porn because the movie did not require it. (Or did it?!)

Constructive critisism has been ignored because the flash spoke for itself. (K.)

"You are an amazing artist"

This entire flash was amazing and had me in awe the whole time, I don't even know where to begin on how good it was, the character was drawn beautifully as well as the planes, the car, the buildings, hell, everything was beautifully drawn, I couldn't see any thing that was bad or didn't fit, I'm surprised this isn’t in the top 50, something like this should be in the top five I think.

"Spectacular"

One of the most beautiful flash movies I've ever seen, and it has one of the most beautiful songs, too. The idea to use this song to follow a man in the middle of a nuclear winter is genius. And, visually, this movie is scary because of its amazing portrayal of the aftermath of a nuclear attack.

My favorite scene is when the performer sings "I watch the birds fly south across the autumn sky" and, instead of birds, it's a couple of battle aircrafts... a metaphor that blew me away. Fantastic. And, though the whole movie is a composition of static symbols... it NEVER gets boring, because of the amazing way you draw every scene. In the scene I mentioned above, the camera showing the airplanes flying away panning down to show the protagonist's car was a hell of a camera move.

Only flaw? The fact the character's expression doesn't change and his staticness. But that barely does any damage to the movie. Also, congratulations for the beautiful menu with the plane flying across the clouds.

All in all, a beautiful, touching flash-movie. You have a LOT of talent, David.
