Hello again, and as I promised, I have released the ULTIMATE CHARACTER MOTION TUTORIAL! Featuring helpful hints, different styles to try, and incredibly cheesy jokes! Also featuring a cameo appearance by an old friend of mine at the end...more like an appliance...anyway, I hope this is helpful. Enjoy!

not good

u r such a n00b you need to watch a character motion tutorial seriously try harder next time

Catjuggler responds:

I respect your opinion, but I prefer constructive criticism over childish name-calling. Plus, if I do say so myself, I don't see any of your work in your profile. (?)

tasty green backround!

(5/5 because of the song) w00t! song in submission! it's my first, and i'm especially happy because it's not CRAP! it's actually really useful for me, because i can't animate to save myself. anyway, good job, nice tutorial. now if i could just figure out flash...

Not bad, not bad.

The movements in this tutorial werent all...great. Theyre great for people beginning out. But I suggest you work on your drawing and movement skills.

The run was really awkward looking. When working with movements, try to see how you would perform them. And next time you do a character animation tutorial, dont suggest to tween. I mean...tweening the limbs just makes it look HORRIBLE imo, dont want to get Legendary Frog with it.

Keep it up man, just work on your movements in future animation related projects. They werent the best, but good enough to give beginners somewhat of an idea of movements.

^^Good Points^^
The thing I liked most about this is how you wrote in a very easy to understand manner and a very casual manner as well, and still gave lots of information...good information at that. I also liked how you started out with making something look crappy, then making it progressively better. The music was very calming and a nice tune. Good job on this tutorial...it is quite useful!

^^Needs Improving^^
I think you should have divided this into section so that one can go directly to jumping or any other section if they want to.

Catjuggler responds:

Thank you for giving me tips! I always enjoy thoughtful and helpful reviews, wether they say my work is good or bad.

WOW

I was just wondering on how to do this in flash, I kinda figured it out on my own, but its nice to know that this is the best way, although it’s a bit time consuming.
