I had flash for about 6 months now but never wanted to rush a submission and throw crap into the NG Portal. So after a while of studying and experimenting, i'm ready to submit my first flash. It started out real short, then grew and grew. It's still short, but better that I thought it was gonna be. Any/all feedback is greatly appreciated. Hopefully, I can break threw the blam

this is my first review and I hope to make my own flash movies and/or games in the future
but thanks to a reading Disorder I go crazy from reading the manual to bad for me ; )

i gave you a 5 for violace and humor
because the poem is filled with a form of dark humor and passive violance, i love it
i think the sound is fine because it makes the poem complete
the style is great but the graphics need a little work Dr_ circumcision 's tip is a good one

well, as far as a manual, I never read one. I just experimented first, then bought a 40 dollar video training course at a certain website. It really helped me. I'm stoked your loving my first submission. I can't wait to explore flash more and come up with my next one. Also good luck to you and your coming-ups.

A short movie about a character who is shown in various single images in black and white. What has he done? What thing could have hapened to make this sinner smile? In future work, the addition of more movements for the actions would be a big plus. Maybe a character narration to add to the music loop would also help to bring some more personality to this movie and the series as a whole.

I was thinking the same think. Right now i'm just trying to think of major improvements that will take this flash to the next level. Really start picking up a story...brainstorming. Right now, it's either- Stick with poetic feel/focus on animation. OR -better animation/focus on story. I have a lot to think about
Several things
I love the style, it was two-toned, minimalist, and overall good. It fit the music well. Even for how short it was the flash seemed to have a point, and has me wishing for a sequel. I would though try to go beyond the manga style drawings and expressions. If you're going to keep doing flash in that color setup and tone, you should look towards going for either realistic faces, or find a way to keep the body and expressions to the simplest possible forms, but still expressive. The anime drawings took away alot of the emotion and feel. Otherwise, good.

wow, your the first that mentioned an anime style. I was actually trying to sway away from that, but well...now that I think about it. The coat he wore did stem from a anime cartoon. Ok, it may have had a bit, but that was truly not my intention. But since the reviews have been possible so far, I suppose I will make a sequal with a better longer episode showing off the true style I was going for. I was about to just drop the pontential for a "series" and try something else. But i guess i'll be on it, at least one more time. Then see if it really picks up. Glad you enjoyed the style of it.

this is amazing for your first flash, yes there are some things to implove upon but all in all this is amazing
