Just want to say in reply to a lot of reviews that this is NOT an asteroids remake. Please call it anything else, but I didn't even consider asteroids when making it, and further into the game has no resemblance at all. Thank you.

This is the result of an attempt to create a simple but colourful addicting arcade shooter. Inspiration was taken from a number of places as well as a lot of my own ideas and techniques. My main challenge in the creation of this game was getting things to run at the correct speed. I used some optimising tricks to cut effects if the game was running slow, and i think i manages to pull it off at a decent speed.

I hope you enjoy it. I plan on making more of the style of game in future but only bigger and better with more advanced effects and game play options. I might do a sequel to this one, not decided yet.
