This is an introduction to the Flash user environment for aspiring developers! I made this in 1999, so it is probably featuring the Flash 3 layout. Things haven't changed TOO MUCH, though, so it's still a decent intro.

I am submitting this to the Portal before I overhaul our tutorial page to be part of the collection system. To make a long story short, all the tutorials need to be in the Portal in order to be featured through the database system. This tutorial was never part of the Portal before.

Thanks for this tutorial...it really helped me :D Now i made animation of about 115 frames where the ball is bumping :D And Also Macromedia Flash 8 Proffesional is the Program for making Flash Movies ???

Loved it!

Awl, man this lesson was so helpful, I never knew what flash really was about until yesterday. However, it was so exciting to make that ball move across the screen! I have only one tiny issue, I didnt see a back button so I could re-read parts of the instrutions instead of having to go through the whole demo. Other than I loved it!
