I liked the style.
I liked the way you used buttons to involve the people watching it.
The interactivity was a good point.
Precise and simple. A good tutorial.
Nice work.
the only problem I had was that the link back to the main menu didn't work for me...

Well it's pretty basic.
I mean all it is, is how to make a circle move. Plus, there are easier ways to do the things you mentioned in the tutorial. First, you could just hit F6 to make a new keyframe. And for a symbol, you could just hit F8. If you extended it, that would be a lot better.
I think it would be better if you added a section about shape tweening and/or other basic materials.
Overall, I liked the fact that you guided the viewer through it manually so they could understand it better.

Im sorry, but why
argh... why!?
These basic tutorials are not that need surely. That was so old and out of date im not even sure what it was trying to teach.
things like motion tween should only be in a tutorial when they are part of a large tutorial that dont look like crap. Why cant you make a tutorial for making a shooting game, somthing that you cant find in a single tutorial from google

Great.
It looks like Flash 4 to me, but anyway, good tutorial. I like the stye a whole lot, how you get to actually click all of the buttons the way you would in Flash. Good job, Tom.
