15 questions about 15 movies or series of movies on NG.
Let me know what score you get first-time through!
Also, any feedback on any specific aspects you liked/disliked will be much appreciated. I'll try to put in sound for #5.
I respond to all reviews.
New to this edition: At the end you can click on any question number to review the question and see the correct answer. Also, I now have different headers for each question.
Took me 4 hours, though I used the functions and stuff I'd made for v3.
The best one yet
I really like the addition of the image bare it really presents a whole new feel and look, i was impressed with it and the layout looks slightly better then before, so nice job on this.
I'd have been interested to know your score. I bet you did well!
Well, this certainly shows me that I need to see more stuff on this site...I got 5/15 on the quiz. And I thought I had seen everything I needed to know. Oh well, it probably proved to be hard to those who hadn't seen some stuff mentioned. Score is from first time through. Keep up the good work, I'll look for NG Quiz 5.
Glad you liked it!
Personally, I don't actually like Broken Saints/IWP that much myself. But those are just series that have sent some shockwaves around NG.
Watch 2 or 3 episodes and if you don't enjoy them, stop watching. That's the way I normally do it.
NG Quiz 5 will probably be about the toplist of movies.
Thanks for the review!
this waS good
this this thing was great i loved it.
10 for sound?
Well, glad you liked it.
I got nothing to say
You could have told me your final score or said that you gave up in disgust.
And if it sucked, why give it a 6?
I got 8 out of 15 first time. Nice to see a quiz which counts your score and doesnt send you back to the start. I liked how you covered a variety of different animations and not just the same type over and over. Although, I have a couple of suggestions:
-instead of waiting until the end to see if you got them right, have it so that you see the answer after each question
-music and sound... and i do realise you mentioned it but i'm saying it anyway ^_^
-maybe instead of having the same questions each time, you program in say, 100 questions, and it picks a random selection of 15, or whatever. That way replay value increases by like 1000%, and you dont have people just going through and memorising the answers to get 15 out of 15
-it would be nice to have more information about each of the movies after you answer the question about them, e.g how popular they are/were, who made it, a link to it etc.
-another idea for making the whole thing more interesting is that you could ask the animators of the respective cartoons if they would mind you borrowing say a 20 second clip of their animation, then you could ask questions about it. It would be better for people who havent been at newgrounds for as long and havent seen as many of them.
Hope to see more from you in the future ^_^ good luck
And one idiot was saying it's broken since you progress with a wrong answer... heh.
Thanks for the feedback and really thorough review.
1 - You can see if you got each question right. Check the text under the level icon (and the icon itself) which change after a correct answer. Still, yeah, you don't know the correct answer...
2 - will do
3 - After you suggested this, I had a think. I even programed something to work out how many questions I might need.
It's something I might look into, though at a later date. With options for different game lengths. It's certainly something that'd take like 10 times as long...
Anyway unless I had thousands of questions, folk'd still be able to memorise them, I reckon.
4 - will do.
5 - This really isn't possible. Firstly, I doubt a lot of folk would want to give me their stuff. Secondly, I use an old version of Flash. Lastly, some authors aren't around anymore.
It's similar to an idea I was thinking of a while ago though, and you may see that sometime in the distant future...
Totally different quiztype though.
Thanks again for all the excellent feedback. Been a joy reading the review.
