Originally started as a comic series, the saga makes the transition into the Flash environment.

Expect this to be continued. Maybe next week. Maybe in a fortnight.

I really enjoy reading reviews. Let me know what specifically you liked/disliked. If you do that, you are awesome.

This took me 3 hours. Quite a while for 9 frames (3x3), but it was my first time using speakonia and I'm not quite 'in the zone'.

Sorry if anyone was hoping for a better animation.

"WTF did I just watch?"

And why is it scored so high?

It was a few seconds long and used that crappy Speakonia voice. I'll admit though, what was there was well animated and looked nice, very interesting style, but it was brought down by it's short length and crappy audio quality.

Sorry, but if you get a real voice and make your flash longer you could make something great, but this was atrocious.

Author's Response:

Why's it scored so high?

Hmm... well maybe because Afro_stud seems to have a habit of upvoting my stuff. I honestly don't urge anyone to do that.

This was a continuation of a comic series I drew during Mr Ladyboy's 168-hour comic. I always used the same 3 panels, but each was drawn/painted using different media. The pictures remained the same - just the dialogue changed.

It was an attempt to use brevity and repetition to foster humour.

In starting this series, I thought folk might get a kick out of the same qualities.

Really, the way I see it, making it longer wouldn't make it any funnier. Ifyou chuckle, I succeeded. Otherwise, I failed. I don't really see how lengthening it would help me in that aim.

"not bad one"

date: October 25, 2006

an alright start to this one... though very very short. it has an interesting concept to it, but i think it would be a bit better if it was longer though.

Author's Response:

You hopefully read my responses below yours for DYMLb!! about why I will never make it longer.

I may introduce an ongoing story to it though...

"interesting..."

date: July 22, 2006

hmmm interesting...uh how can i use speakonia with flash 8?

Author's Response:

Your review is atrocious.

You suggest it is interesting, but convey your doubt about that statement by preceding the repetition of the word with a 'hmmm'.

If you truly felt it was interesting, you should've given it over 2. If not, it'd be nice to maybe explain why you don't like it.

I give your review 1/10

Your question should have been asked via a PM. I don't have flash 8, but assume you'd expert the sound to MP3 in Speakonia, then import it to the Flash 8 environment just like any other MP3.

"what were you thinking"

date: July 4, 2006

that looked like it took you 5 minutes. please stop entering these peices of trash on newground unless you shape up and start making good flashes.

Author's Response:

Yeah, 3 hours is too long for this, but 5 minutes? That's a bit of an exaggeration...

#2 will have actual animation. But they're all basically the same joke and length.

"Not as bad as some others..."

But its down there, in a pile of crap.

5 seconds of annoying voices, seizure-inducing flash, and a bit of 'humir' so stupid its mind numbing.

Author's Response:

I still think it's funny.

I agree about the voices, and the humour's subjective of course.

Anyone getting a seizure from this though really shouldn't be on NG.

Thanks for giving your opinion.
