This tutorial teaches how to make buttons using AS 2.0. If it doesn't work with AS 3.0 (Flash versions CS3 or above), that's probably why.

Very good Flash tutorial, and it has humour too!

This told me about everything I needed to know about making a button. The only problem was returning to the normal timeline, because the tutorial didn't say you have to press the scene button to go back to the scene.

Very nice otherwise, though the music WAS a bit annoying (could have been a little less loud)...

I'm making flashes from a while and I never knew how to do buttons (I'm totally newb in actionscript hehe) but this simple tutorial covered everything that I wanted, gj ^^

I coudnt copy and paste the action scris! wich is really loers your score. I liked the humor though!
