Now this is my first submission to Newgrounds, and I had to fight very hard to get past that annoying 5MB size limit.
First of all, this started off as an experiment for me to practise doing anime-inspired action sequences and quickly evolved into something of a Flash Rave style movie. Don't pester me about there being a "lack of storyline" because this isn't supposed to tell you the whole tale of Dendyn, it is basically just a quick summary. I know that the graphics are a little bit untidy, but I was mainly trying to focus on the frame-by frame action, which takes me a long time to produce. Also, the music is terrible, but I'll change it for a much better version once Professor Fate can get around to finishing the remix. *glares*

I am currently working on a more tween-intensive animation with MUCH better graphics. This animation runs on 25 fps, while my working project will run at 50.

Great!
The animation was super perfect, men i never seen anything soo smooth, not even in real cartoons its usually so smooth, the ONLY thing in this that made it bad, not the ONLY thing... Where the music, the music was not great at all you know MIDI-formats is not so good for an animation... I know its hard to make music and stuff like that, but its possible...

Unoriginal
This movie was not very good. I give you credit for the WAAAAY above average animation, but the fact that you used the overdone style furry anime to do it... yeah... Anime, a lot of the time, is just something that animators use because they cannot come up with or are to lazy to come up with their own style... which is what I think of most anime submissions to Newgrounds. This movie, with its lack of storyline (preview, I know) and horrible sound quality just isn't very well done. There were no sound effects and the song that you played just got obnoxious. By the way, a lot of the characters in this flash look HORRIBLY UGLY! Especially the ice elemental and the one that uses dual pistols. Since you are already creating this flash with anime, by all means, go ahead and finish it. It should be better when it has some semblance of storyline, but this PREVIEW should not be Number One in the portal.

Fair enough. However, take into account that there are MANY different ways to draw stickmen. Much in the same way that there are MANY different ways to draw and execute anime. Have you ever seen FLCL? No, you probably haven't. That show is a great example of the way that anime is more of an art movement than a style. There are infinite ways to use anime to create original work. I personally just like the buzz that anime creates.
I guess it's all a matter of personal taste, because I NEVER try to make ugly charcters, in fact, you're the first person EVER to tell my my characters are ugly. That's cool, I don't mind. And thanks for the critique.

Add a story, right now its a waste of time. -good animation is only 2 of the 6 catagorys.
