Submitting this seeing how the date is the Number of the Beast. Thought this is "fitting" for a lack of a better word. This is not the same one I submitted a few weeks ago, since there are some gameplay changes.

At the time, I didn't know how to program the actions to the actual alphabet keys, which I originally wanted, so that's the next best thing since those keys are right above the arrow keys.

Ugh.

There's much that could use work in this.

1. The Voice Acting isn't done very well... it's scripted.
2. The music is muffled.
3. The audio sounds would do better with effects
4. The characters are drawn simple and without real style or expressiveness.
5. The only thing individual about this is the methods of using different styles, and the item usage... which I thought was totally complicated. I think it'd be better if you used it in a super mario kart fashion, or Super Smash Brothers melee. Get, use, done.
6. The animation I didn't like so much. Also, can we skip through the dialogue?

1. The voice clips are more or less audition clips.
2. The stage song was recorded from an external source, and was rushed. With the length of the movie-game as it is, I doubt viewers would want to wait twice as long for better sounding audio.
3. I'm staying away from in-game SFX until I can find a good enough blaster FX. As of this writing, I believe I've found some suitable SFXs.
4. Couldn't really answer that, but that is my style.
5. It may sound complicated, but I've worked it out. I plan on having the various styles be selectable before the start of each stage, and the cards you will be using will be shown before the start of each stage. The SSB/MK format might prove to be too random for this game, sorry in this aspect.
6. Sorry about the animation, all I can say is to just deal with it until I figure it all out.
7. Since this is a tutorial stage, those parts can't be skip; neither the pre-boss chatter too (to keep the Megaman-spirit in there). Since the format is game-movie-game-movie, you can skip the movie segments all together, the game too. As for further ingame chatter, I might. Since that is voiced, I don't want people to skip it then have that awkward feeling of still hearing the voice clip. But don't worry, the clips are individually cut to the length of text on screen, so that awkward feeling should only last a second or two; unless I can fix the problem.

Psycho simple I think he was going for a metal gear solid feel. Needs work but it's fine.

Ha ha, seeing how this is a "Newgrounds 666" edition, "Ma Ya Mi" will be the stage theme only here.

And yeah, I think a Metal Gear fell is what I'm trying to do overall. Even though there will be very little philosophical elements in it.

Well, it is suppose to be a mixture of both, so don't rely on the submission tag too much. But I will keep on trying on the gaming portions!

Pretty good.

Solid enough gameplay, except with those bugs. And some of the fights were a little dull...

But, I especially liked the charging bar system, and the healing system.
You're dead on, too... it had alot of the game qualities of several other games, but that's fine, you did it well.

Nice job.
