Average, with promise

Graphics, 4; The box itself was neato, and the bouncy effect was cool. The rest of the tutorial was lacking. Were it me, I would make my arrows and text coordinate with the actual box by making them shiny and kind of rounded. It wasn't much of a sight for sore eyes.

Style, 5; A bit plain and boring, but I give it an average score because you kept it clean and clear.

Sound, 3; The song was overpowering. It might work better if you used it only on the screen with the completed box. For the rest, maybe some lighter background noise.

Interactivity, 3; I had hoped that the actionscript text would be copyable. It would have saved time and been less daunting for a beginner.

Overall, 5; I voted 2. It's a neat tutorial and I sincerely hope you work on it some more. I know I'll be making hundreds of these when I'm bored from now on! ^_^

That didn't even look like a gem :/

There should one really bright highlight where the light hits the gem, the around it there should be dark shade > light shades reaches outwards from the light source! That just looked like a piece of jelly :/

I think this is ok but...

It's probably going to make it through the portal but theres a few things you must do to it to make it better.
Most people that go on tutorials are beginers trying to get tips from more experienced flash designers such as yourself, I myself am a beginer and i found the movie slightly confusing (maybe because i'm just stupid) one is that i didn't know how to make the corner radius 10 and also I didn't know where the gradient tool was.
I think it was a very good movie and the finished product looked brilliant but could you please make it simpler for people like me. (maybe add some screenshots or something)
If this makes it through the portal please edit it for us beginers.

I always liked those pop-up bricks, or gems. Nice style, It would be nice if you put a little more effort into background, and style. Overall it was pretty good.
