This animation proved something of a mixed bag. It had somewhat primitive, if clear, graphics and a simple, even juvenile, plot. However, the film managed to come of as quite funny by playing upon stereotypes, and playing upon them brilliantly. PO'ed Chef's characters are exaggerations of well known caricatures: the subservient Mexican illegal, the overly eager audience member, and the caustic marine drill sergeant. The cartoon's humor stems from fully embracing the labels of society, shamelessly exposing their ugly seams. Its a pity that many people still perpetuate and accept stereotypes like these as truth, rather than humor, but until everyone knows better, I think its best to laugh at it all! :) (4/5)
Author's Response:
Wow..thank you for that review.
I was starting to think people may be considering me a racist. That wasnt my intention at all.
Im white and my wife is black and we catch all kinds of hell, but at the same time its just so stero-typical the way people act about it. Blah.
Anyways, thanks again for the response and the 4/5. :)
