Cheat code:
(1)GOD MODE: press "Shift+2+P" during playing: no one can beat you.
(2)Press "Shift+2+S", while press "OK" button in the game options, you get SPREAD GUN as default weapon, and "Shift+2+L" for laser gun, etc.
Tips: Harder difficulty (in the game options) result in higher score!
(Cheat code may get your hiscore halved or rejected)
Contra(or Probotector) is originally an arcade game released in 1987 by the Konami corporation. This anniversary edition features more options and better effects with an advanced hiscore system.

Like it
It's a great Contra emulator, but I'd like to see more levels. Especially any I may have missed due to incompetency on the ice fields. I could never beat that level. It was even tough on god more. Heh, what with the falling into ACIDIC WATER and all! I guess it would cause hypothermia after a while, but instant death was always annoying. Only one bullet. Those guys were weak:D.
Anyway, before I start rambling TOO much, I like it, but it would be good to have more levels.

Cool remake.
Though it was slow and lagged like hell it was fun and a very good remake and even some added stuff,i really liked how you could use a controller and remake your own keys on the controls,excellent job on such a great game. :)

good remake of one of my favorite nes games though it did have a few noticable flaws and it froze on me a few times and i had to restart but it was aight
