This is my effort at creating the classic game Breakout. I spent roughly 2 months learning the actionscript to get this to work. I know alot of you have seen this before but I'm quite proud of my work and I wanted to share what I have so far with you. I hope you like it.
Known Issues: Ball sticks when you miss it unless you move the mouse.
Ideas for next version: Sound when striking the blocks. Background Music (any suggestions welcome)

its good, but there is a glitch where the ball goes off screen and doesn't come back. also a pause button would be nice, but other than that its good

i've never seen a breakout-style game with this in it, and i think it'd be awesome to have one:
an actual equation that figures out the angle you hit it at, like in Super DX ball, but with all angles in play here. now THAT'D be awesome. might be hard to integrate though =\
otherwise, it's a good take on it (compared to those crappy pixelated ones). not saying it's like, omfg it's amazing! but it's good.

the game was fun, but if you miss one and it goes past you you have to lose a life to start the level, is that supposed to happen? if not you should fix that
