My suggestion for sequal:

It needs background changes.
2 blocks that are not the same shap should not be the same color.
When you clear a line,make an animation that kind of wipes the lines away.
A botton to hold a block.Remember only hold one at a time.
A password save option,
A "story mode".
A versus mode(2-player and AI oppenent of choice skill level)
And varios bonuses,such as:
Square:make a perfect 4x4 square.
Cascade:a tetris combo,clear a row while a block from the row above it drops and clears another line.
Ultimate clear:get the tetris playing field blank.

Firstly, I'd love to know what block's coming next; because I work that fast.
In contrast to that, the music choice was, though only 1 song, great.
Secondly, allow the user to change button configurations, or swap between a bunch of them?

Oh, and I do love Tetris; I've just seen some bad versions out there before. This one is getting borderline, though it COULD be a lot worse.
