UPDATE: Woot! 25K views! And in the top 50! Shiny. Very much so. Thanks a munch to you viewers and all of your comments, good, and less than so. It really helped some kinks in my movie, as well as ecouraged me to make more stuff. You guys really hit on all sixes. :D

Tweaked with a few minor quirks in the animation. Some obvious, some not so much. Let's see what you catch, ya? :3

Frontpaged! Lovely! You Newgroundian folks are all aces, you are. :D

Some of you've been asking what grade I got for the project. Although I haven't asked, I'm pretty sure it's a good grade considering my teacher's been ranting about it to her other classes. ¬¬;

Basically, it wouldn't work on her computer, but it did on the computer lab across the hall. But she wants to figure out a way the whole class can see it because she likes it a bunch.

ALSO! Major wootpoints to my friend Veedo, for sending me the actual song itself. You rock. :D

Hey. This took me.. a little over 2 weeks to finish at 18 FPS, aaand, my back hurts like nothing else now. :D

Anyway, this is for a school project, where we had to choose a protest song from the 60's and make a music video about it. I chose this, and decided to bust my arse on it, not just for the sake of a grade, but for the sake of trying make something really moving to people.

Sorry for my yammering, please enjoy!

Your animation is good and I like the style. But, more importantly, you made a very touching point. Man is capable of nimaginable horrors. Hate, violence, despair, and pain are ingrained in our society, and have been from the dawn of time.

However our tendancy towards the "inhumane" is countered by our infinite potential for good. Charity and Hope will outlast all of mans petty confilcts. We dream of a better future, fighting the cycle of history.

Now, excuse me while I go watch someting that restores my above mentioned faith in humanity.

thank you....

When I was small my grandpa died of cancer in front of me for so long I felt such sorrow. This song made me realize that in the end he was happy, and know I know I can let go. Thank you Jason....thank you.

Ps. My real rating is 100,000,000,000
