Now I don't mean to be disrespectful...

But people's rage and sadness with what has happened to WTC has blinded them from voting fairly on these types of movies... I'd like to keep my votes based on one thing and only one thing... effort. Don't get me wrong, this is one of my favorite tributes about WTC... I love the music and everything... but I still think people should be basing their vote on effort... Sorry if this comes out a bit rude...

1984

Some retarded american wrote : "All you British bastards, sitting there drinking your tea and eating whatever the fuck you eat don't understand. I didn't lose anyone during the attacks, but it did anger me, a lot. Whats the worst that's happened to Britian? A V2 rocket hitting a building? Big...FUCKING....DEAL!". Now that there have been 2 explosions in London, his comment looks ridiculous at least, but even before these bombs, London was bombed a lot during WW2, while you weren't sure about joining Germany or Britain.

And talking of V2s, has anyone read the book 1984? 11 september remember me when the girl says "Imagine there is no war, no enemy, imagine that the Party is throwing these flying bombs at us to make us scared, more patriotic, to make us want the war, to make us do what Big Brother tells us to do" ...

I saw War of the Worlds some days ago, am i the only one that feels like Spielberg could have put some 9/11 scenes throught the movies and no one would have noticed? Well apparently not, as a relative of H.G.Wells(the guy that wrote the book that this movie is based on, ive read the book and its good, not like the movie), it was his nefew if i remember, and he said, after meeting Spielberg to talk about the movie, that Spielberg made his movie to use the potential given by the fact that americans are terrorized (as in scared) and very troubled about the terrorism and the war.

And yesterday G.Bush's administration made their move to make sure Asia is kept under control, allowing India to develop their civil nuclear program even if they don't allow U.N. inspectors to verify their nuclear weapons stockpiles and even if they haven't agreed to the Nuclear Weapons Non-Proliferation act, or whatever it is called in english.

Yeah, Iraq and Afghanistan sure were dangerous countries that were threats to world peace. India is a different story, even if they are basically at war with another nukes owning country (Pakistan) when they'll shoot their bombs, it will be on God enemies, i.e. the growing chinese market
