Originally introduced on Newgrounds in 1999, before the current Portal system.
Earth is doomed and the US is in a fight against Russia for control of a new planet! Your ship is entirely controlled by the mouse.
I originally made this game in 1999, but over the years NG has grown a lot and there was no longer a place for it outside of the Portal system. So here it is!
Specific Music Credits:
Lavender Hill Mob (Shok, aka FDA on NG) - Initial Battle
Strict Nine - Hyper-Drive Sequence
Dan (Last Name Unknown) - Boss
Zeitmahl (Also Shok) - Initial Battle
Zeitmahl - Mid-Boss 2
Shok - Sky
Shok - Boss
Dan (Last Name Unknown) - Finale
Well This Just Proves That Old Games ARE UNFAIR I Got To The Part Of Miska The Giant Dog Thing I Could HAVE FREAKING BEAT If The Other Ships Dint Come Pouring Out Like When He Gets Behind Me I Can Survive The Attacks But Those Bastards Keep Ramming And i Lose Every Time Ive Gived Up This Dumb Game It Really Should Stay In 1999 But I Do Give Some Points For Effort
it was pretty boring, the graphics were horrible, and i don't know about the sound. it's also to hard in opinion.
This is just a bad, bad game
There were no powerups aside from that "lazer" thing that periodically dropped that as far as I could tell had no purpose. Powerups add so much to a game and really irks me when people don't include them.
The ship models were far too big and it maneuvering turned out to be a nightmare. I took more damage from collision than anything else.
Shortly after the start of the first part of the game, the earth blows up. There is no warning and no explanation afterward. Just little earth shards in the background until you hit the asteroid field.
And about that freaking asteroid field; I've never been able to get past it. Every time I get the hyperspace warning I get creamed by an asteroid that is pretty much inescapable.
All in all, the sound is bad (the buzzer that goes off when that big ship pops in at the end of the first area sounds like you just recorded your drying machines' end cycle buzzer), the voice actors sound like they couldn't take this seriously if their life depended on it and well you know I could keep talking but this is just a bad bad game.
I do hope you read this review and not the other ones that are rating you 6 or 7 and saying the same thing but trying to be nice.
I was completely bored the 3rd time i played it
I think I'm being nice by giving the game a one...first it should be updated and also we should be able too choose if we wana be from U.S or Russia...
Context? Context is for casuals.
