Did you play Ragnarok Online? Do you like that game?

Read the instructions carefully, and report any bugs you find - I'll try to fix them and upload a new version ASAP. Be patient until the preloader appears! *v 1.6:* I'm pretty sure I fixed the save bug now. Check the corner of the main menu to see which version you're playing.

Pretty Damn Good.
This game was great!
PROS:
Really Motha' Fucking Fun!
CONS:
Really Motha' Fucking Hard Controls.
Make the controls easier next time (keyboard only, no mouse)! Also, the maps were horrific. You should change the way you scroll the maps next time.
You can play it keyboard-only if you want to, that's how I do it. Ctrl A to select all units, N to attack Nearest enemy, and WASD or arrow keys to scroll.
How should I change the map scrolling system? It already works with arrow keys and minimap, but to make it so that you have to put your cursor on the edge of the screen to scroll wouldn't really work on a browser game - that kind of thing only works well full-screen.

good war game
Very nice. I tried out your other entries of Commando and you've come a long way. Very good job. I have like the variety and upgradings. It reminded me of other good strategy games I have played, especially Empire Earth.
Is this the last installment? Or will you make a Commando 4?
This will probably be the last Commando game, unless I get significantly bored enough to decide otherwise.

Sweet
Another good war game I never get tired of seeing strategy war games and theres alot of them like this one that seem to stick out above the others and become the really addictive games.

Fix it Fix it FIX IT
Incase the summary didn't get it across to you, FIX IT. Alright, sure, you update save. And you know what? It doesn't work. I mean sure, it saves, but when I closed the window and reopened it, it had put me, oh 10+ battles ahead. FIX IT. Now moving onto the game play...
A) The Arrow randomly freezes on the screen every few minutes
B) Lag. Lots of Lag. And for a flash game...that's very, horribly bad.
C) Auto aim/continuous action. Alright, sure, you click the button or the key and they fire. At one enemy. Once. I'm sure a LOT of people would prefer that they kept firing at enemies until you gave them another action/ran out of them. And if you have them in a line formation, keep them like that as they move from enemy to enemy.
D) Easier selection. Make it so that when you try to select another unit, it doesn't move the already selected units instead. Have a way to unselect the previous units or something. A button maybe.
Alright, that covers everything I can think of right now. I'm not saying I didn't enjoy the game, but all this crap is really starting to push it. Next time you make a game, please at least ATTEMPT to solve problems in it before submitting...have half-a-dozen beta-testers or something.
Please respond this time.

P.S. Don't think these problems are just for my computer, cause I have the same shit on every one I've tried.
The 1.6 patch wasn't uploaded at the same time I changed the game's description. Chances are the saving didn't work because you were playing the 1.5 swf.
Arrow? Do you mean the cursor? In that case, you ought to play the game outside the browser, it runs a lot better. Get the game at birchlabs.co.uk/Commando3.zip and get the player at birchlabs.co.uk/SAFlashPlayer.exe
If it's lagging, then play it outside of the browser (as explained above). It really runs a lot faster. Plus, press Q twice to change the graphics rendering quality to LOW, which disables anti-aliasing - this should make it run A LOT better. Getting a new computer might help too, but you're not going to do that just for a Flash game.
I guess I could do that, it's just that it'd make the game way too easy. I mean, most people can win on the hardest difficulty level, even with the odds stacked against them. Keeping units in formation as they attack is pretty much impossible. Not gonna do it.
There's already a way to deselect. Just Ctrl Click on the battlefield. Like it SAYS IN THE INSTRUCTIONS. ;)
I had more than just half a dozen beta testers, and not one of them complained about it. Everything they did say about the game, I fixed.
