Do you ever wonder what it would be like if George Lucas and Matt Groening were best friends? Curious myself, I am proud to offer my own interpretation of everyone's favorite cartoon family in a parody far, far away... As if it could get any better, this movie is two flash movies in one featuring another Star Wars inspired short "Leia's Test Drive." May the D'oh be with you!

Good job.

This was pretty fun to watch. it didn't make me laugh but it made me smile just because it was Star Wars and The Simpsons both of which are great. I gave an 8 for sound because it was just The Simpsons intro. There was nothing new it was all stuff I had heard before. I think "Leia's Test Drive" should have had some actual voices. 3 for violence the violence that was there was very little and kind of softcore (Vader getting run over by the Millennium Falcon). Humour was kind of lacking. Like I said it made me smile but I didn't laugh. As for style I give it a 10 because well it was pretty original. The Simpsons intro with Star Wars characters is pure genius. Which makes me curious as to what it would be like to put the Simpsons in the Star Wars storyline. That may be a good idea. Feel free to take it.

Overall it's an 8 because it's good but not awesome.

Now for a Proper...and Intelligent Review!

What can I say? I'll go D.V. on this: IT'S AWESOME BABY, IT'S AWESOME!!! I love both Star Wars and all of the Matt G. stuff (Futurama, Simpsons, even his stuff from Bizarro Comics). And to all those who want to call it stupid cuz it looks like a bunch of strung together pics, go watch the Simpsons intro for a few years and THEN SAY THAT!!! Anywho, here's the review:

Graphics: Perfect---10
Style: LOL Funny and Original (suggestion: Do Matt G. + some other films or other funny animators + other films [Mike Judge, Miyazaki or Tezuka, Stan Sakai, etc.])---10
Sound: Sounded like the Simpsons Intro to me---10
Violence: None here...except Darth Vader getting rammed in the Space Balls!!!---4
Interactivity: Me near falling outta my seat in my library and trying to get others next to me to watch your film---9
Humor: LMAO, am now gonna pick it up and reattach as I give my final thought---10

Final Thought i.e. Overall: Do some more, like what I suggested in Style review, and you're now on my fav authors and submissions list---9

best star wars spoof

funny as hell the test drive was the best one. amazing that before you had to do it with a camera and stuff like how the creators of south park use to do it. its the best flash on star wars on newgrounds but there are others wich uses a different program but i forgot the site so good luck with your other projects and may the force be with you. lol

Awesume

That was really good. I haven't seen this kind of quality flash in about a year. that was nice. I especially liked the maniac leia driving the ship, it just looked so hilarious. Unfortunately, the length is under some question. Only a few minutes. It doesn't compare, to oh lets say the "Decline of Video Gaming" series by the Flash Bros. Nice length, good humor, and great graphics, all rolled into one. They certainly made a classic. However, i did love your flash, and i'm not criticizing it in any other way, so keep up the good work, just remember, newgrounds users like quantity over quality, so sacrifice some of your picture quality (like cutting down the amout of curves a little bit, that will do wonders, and often you can't even tell the difference) so you can keep the file size and still have a great looking, but longer cartoon. A good suggestion is making like a five minute episode after the intro.

-Drubbled (don't ask me why i picked this name, it just sounded weird and original)

CirrusEpix responds:

So true. NG is all about quantity, which is why my films don't make as big a splash here as others. I love NGs for all it is, but I also make my films for wider audiences.
