You can play the updated version with the Stranglethorn Fever expansion here: http://www.newgrounds.com /portal/view/574187

I've always wanted to play a Murloc on World of Warcraft, but I knew that wasn't going to happen... So I created my own game! I've been secretly developing an RPG engine for months, which includes:

20 Talents,
50+ Items,
Lots of enemies to battle,
Lots of areas to explore,
And a fully developed storyline!

Over 1 hour of gameplay, this is a full RPG developed on Flash. If you're not into RPGs, please consider the work put into this game when you vote. WARNING: You must have Flash Player 8!

*NOTE: Most people think the game froze when you get the message "Yes I'm ready, Give me a few minutes" The game did NOT freeze. Kagle is asking you if you're ready. You should click on either "Yes, I'm ready" or "Give me a few minutes."

Controls (available in-game):
A and D or Arrows to move Left and Right
Hold Control to run.
Use Spacebar to interact.

Not bad

Pretty cool! Im a WoW addict and have often thought about playing a murloc. Two complains though: One, the game was VERY slow...it seemed to drag sooo much I couldnt stand it. Two: On my very first try of the game I discovered a build that couldnt beat that damn Kobold wizard guy. I was maxed in the cruelty, vigor, adrenaline rush, cold blood etc. tree, and had three in the mark of the wild renew heal tree...none of which give me spell stopping abilities!!! The fuckin kobold just kept healing himself until I was dead and there was nothing I could do about it...Fixable problem? All in all, great game!

Yes, v1.0 is *very* slow. I recommend you check out the latest version (v1.2) over at http://gamerdisclaimer.com. Not only is it faster, but it includes lots of new areas, items, and enemies!

Great!

Extremely well put-together game you've got here man! As you said, it would take you months and months to create something like this!

Although it is quite hard to judge the graphics of this game (since they are not exactly your own ;)) I gave them a high score, since it must have taken you some effort to extract them from Warcraft.

The sound effects as well as the music are excellent, although I did miss an option to turn them off! It is ofcourse a Flash game, so that would be desireable. Other then that it fitted the game really well.

The game feels VERY solid and you added quite a dose of humor, which is actually really typical for the Warcraft-series. All and all impressive game, aspecially for something created in Flash!

8 out of 10 in the review, and 5 out of 5 in the votes.

Thanks for the comments! The version on Newgrounds is quite out-dated. The latest version on my site does have a mute button ;) Yes, that Camp Brakil tune can get annoying ^_^

Great but i have some improvments you could make

Great game but heres some things i think you should add in number 2

1.make it possible to miss an enemy.

2.make it so theres a fixed amount of heal gained every lvl i mean like after lvl 10 its like 2000 life a lvl up which kinda ruins the fun of the game

3.make more variaty of weopons

4.make it so you can gain party members throughout the game like another murloc or something

5.random battles when out of town

6.harder bosses because all the bosses have that others dont is more health,a skill or two, or a spell or two which in the long run doesent make them much harder then an ordinary enemy.

7.have enemy groups like a wolf pack or a kobold scout party.

8.stats- example...

level 12
Strength 32- dmg per attack 64
Dexterity 23 - chance for enemy attack miss 8%
Stamina 23- energy 46
Vitility 45- health 225
Magic 7- Mana 45
5 points avalable
9.more exploring area
otherwise GREAT game and im looking forward to murloc 2

Already did most of that stuff! Check out the latest expansion on my site, Murloc RPG: Stranglethorn Fever. The health-scaling is fixed, it has stats (Strength, Stamina, Agility, Intellect), LOTS of new weapons and armor, LOTS of harder bosses.
