The game is fine for what it is, a simple side-scrolling brawler. I thought the combat could get a little repetitive at the end though and the fight against Barbus is extremely annoying but apart from those two, I'd say I enjoyed myself.

4 months in the making, 'Xunmato Alpha' is finally complete. Xunmato alpha is an action packed combat game with loads of features and stacks of fun. Play story mode, where you battle your way through endless hoards of monsters, or arcade, where you can play against the computer or a friend as four different characters. Amano, Barbus, Sora and Violet, each with their own special abilities, combos and attacks.

i love it
I remember playing this game when I was younger and I hated Barbas or whatever the hell his name is. Why he's obsessed with a sword is beyond me. Sure it's powerful, but I'm sure he could get another powerful weapon as well.
Even after 10 years, this game still amazes me. I'm still curious about the concept and everything to the story even after the animation from a while ago.
This has been one of my favorite games for so long. My bro actually wrote a little story based on it, once.
