Defeat the enormous mechanical beasts--and become one of them.
4.02 / 5.00 43,779 ViewsUpdate! Yeah this is probably about a year too late, but apparently I've never updated the version on Newgrounds. This has a lot of fixes carried over from World 2, and some re-timing code, so for the first time ever, if you have a fast enough computer, the game will run at 30 fps, instead of around 20. FINALLY.
Warning! You must have Flash Player 8 installed! Flash Player 9 highly recommended!
After what seemed like an eternity, Fancy Pants Man is ready for his debut. Here's my take on the classic side-scroller formula.
There's various trophies spread throughout the game from some of my old work, and from some others who I really enjoy. Special thanks to everyone and anyone who was involved in this project!
Also, visit armorgames.com, they rock. And API, his music also rocks.

Kickass game
This game is awesome, it plays smooth and its really fun. There is pretty much nothing you could have done to make this game any better.

Great game
I loved it! It was a very smooth game and the simple drawing is cool! But one problem- when I got to the second world, I just sorta fell into nothingness forever-- lame! But still a great game!

really good
Note to author: it was really entertaining, until I got stuck in a glitch. >:( when I jumped into the box for the walljump powerup, I lost. So when I got out, I went back in. This time the walljump didn't work while the oil spilt, so I lost. The third time the walljump still didn't work, but, in addition, the oil stopped spilling and didnt kill me, so i was stuck in the room. I dont know what was going on there.
Other than that, great game! Love the physics and movement of the character! Really great atmosphere.

Worthy of PS2 remake
Reminiscent of the retro-style 2d-scrollers such as Paper Mario and Sly Cooper, this game is drawn beautifully and smoothly. The character's movements are seamlessly integrated as he jumps, flips, and slides across the wacky landscape. The music is creative, mood-setting, and fitting for each level. The game even has easter eggs, little secrets, and 'messages from the creators' that show thought and creativity by the makers, a trait not often seen in Flash games. I wouldn't have been surprised to have seen this game (maybe a more expansive version) as a PS2 game.
