i have to say, for a song like this, it captured the mood quite perfectly. to be honest i was thinking sort of the same thing...the somberness of this song really went well with your flash. I am a huge Coldplay fan and i really have to say i like this piece of work (even if its a bit old...2 years...well maybe not that old)!

Though Spies isn't one of my favorite songs, it's definately up there. I love how the artwork is gritty and urban , and also how you added real footage that you made (Or someone else made and you stole). Overall, I think that tis is amazing. 100%

I like Coldplay so much that my username is based on one of their songs. Anyway, you did something brave making a video for a song like this. It wasn't perfect, and some of it looked pretty sketchy, but at the same time you nailed what so many people miss in animation: ATMOSPHERE.

Using nuanced images of stormclouds and very drab, bleak looking shades of color, you perfectly underscored the mood. By keeping the sketch-like pencil outlines around your characters and landscapes you kept it real-looking and fresh. You used a few metaphors well, taken from the song, and your recurring themes of power lines and deserted industrial landscapes makes it brilliant.

Finally, it was very suprising when you made the switch from flash player to digital video, but you did that well and kept it looking similar enough to the animation to carry the theme.

I write long-winded reviews, but it's just because I love this! Keep doing it!
