The Dark King is about to release the Black Plague upon the kingdom. Find and distribute the antidote before everyone dies (or I guess you could be a sadist and just let them all die)
Controls:
- Arrows (or A and D) to steer
- P to pause
- V to switch view
- Q to toggle quality
REQUIRES FLASH PLAYER 8
This game has been a beast to build... please read all these notes for full info
Main game engine is pseudo-3D, which is quite CPU-intensive, so if it shows lag, try switching to medium quality (use Q). This is also the reason that the graphics are quite simple: the game (or rather, the average PC) simply can't handle complex graphics in a 3D engine.
Game has two modes - STORY (hard and easy have different endings), and SURVIVAL (online 500-place scoreboard, bonus pick-ups)
Many thanks to Ani-x for the animations and the majority of graphics, to Dan for the game concept, and to the various AP musicians for the audio
This game was supposed to have been submitted before the end of Feb, so it's a week late - I underestimated the amount of time required to insert cutscenes and subtitles. I'm quite happy with it, though, hopefully it was worth the delay. I'll warn you now, hard mode is HARD
Thanks for playing
Cheers

cool one
excellent graphics and audio and a pretty good idea for the game too. the game itself was fun, but i lost a bit of interest after awhile and it got a bit repetitive too. it was fun for a time killer, but nothing i'd play over and over and over though.

There is basic, and then there is this...
... do any of you remember a time before Gameboy when the only handheld systems were those 1-game Tiger handhelds where things popped up on the screen and you had to avoid them... it was always the same even if the game was supposed to be racing, football, basketball, whatever.
Well this reminded me of that crap.
Holds your interest for 2 minutes and then you want to throw it away.

fuuuuck
it was actually fun. i felt like a LAME ass nerd after playing it, but...really my only beef with it is the excessive and impractical clutter of objects. have you ever seen a town's buildings layed out in patternless throngs? no...they have streets, and roads, and paths. you should've been able to make turns on streets in that level. but...the game was okay...i'd keep playing it but there were no continues (damn you). peace

Well done but....
I thought it was very well put together, and the animation was great. But the actual game idea has been done a few times in the past, and they are all kinda the same. Not as origonal as some of your other games, but good none the less. Congrats.
