This was a soft moving self-less story. The pacing was nice and the grey scale it had going helped to really add some nice contrast within it. It would have been nicer if the flowers were coloured in just to help give it that bit of symbolism for hope.
Halfway through the flash I had to stifle a laugh however, it just seemed to really try and push the whole 'lost love' concept which didn't work well at all, the clichéd death didn't really help this either.
Besides that it was a reasonably touching flash, just a little TOO cliché.

"Very touching"

The story was told beutifully, the animation wasnt amazing, and motiontweens were used in a weird kind of way, but for once, i didnt really care, the story was great.
Btw, i recommended this for the serious shorts collection. (cos i read your scary face sand post) Maybe actually say to submit to that one because it took me a while to remmeber that that one was actually there, before that i wasnt really sure which one.

i think this was some really good work. this should probably be better than daily 5th but u win some lose some. also, i think that during the movie maybe the flower could be colored, but when he dies, it turns to black/white. i think that the music was an excellent choice for a type of movie like this. i cant really find anyother places to improve one. the black/white feeling really set the mood for the whole movie and was odd at first but then it got a lot more selfexplanatory and effective later on in the movie. 9/10 4.5/5
