Spoof-Spook English

Spoof Spook was originally made in Spanish for a Spanish Class. I put a lot of effort into the original, but I know more about Flash now. When I learned of a Really Short Film Festival being held by 101.9 The End (a radio station out of Utah), I jumped on it. I fixed up the parts that were unbearable, such as the beginning, which as you can see has much worse graphics in the Spanish original. Also, I added a few scenes to compliment the sponsor requirements of the Festival. I even fixed up the sound quality a LOT. And, of course, I added English dialogue and re-synced the lips. So now, with better graphics, more scenes, and English Dialogue, I give you the special English re-release of Spoof Spook.

This was really really really cool

All my 5 belongs to this man. I liked this soo much I a 5 voted on it twice. Keep it up man. BTW How did you make that static on the TV.

luminousnerd responds:

:D Thanks! The static was relatively easy. I made the image in GIMP (Photoshop or Fireworks would also work, though they are infinitely inferior). Just a single image, that was much larger than I needed. Then put it in a movie clip, masked the size I needed, rotated it with a looping tween. Got sound from Flashkit (thanks!). Hope I helped! If you need more help let me know on AIM or email or whatever. :)

And thanks for the ratings!!

Good but

here are some tips.

Firstly, do not use the white bar as the subtitles (or captions in this case), simply use a dark coloured bar with Alpha at 20 or somethin'.
Secondly, work on your other effects, eg rain should really be white or light blue, alpha of course (water is see through).

well, good luck in getting more reviews!^_^

luminousnerd responds:

Yea, if I would have thought of the subtitle bar from the start I would have done it that way. I had the idea about halfway through, at which point it would have been a huge pain to change. As far as your comment about the rain...it is light blue, and it is alpha...not sure what you mean...

Thanks for your comments :)

Alright.

This was alright but far from the kind of think that piques my interest. The voice acting seems to be done by one person and the female voice(s) seem wrong.

I likes the randomness, but there didn't seem to be enough to keep the viewer intrigues.

Overall I would say that this submission is good but lacking.

luminousnerd responds:

It was all by one person. The female voices are supposed to be funny. I admit I could have made it a little more...shall we say, overdone, to make it seem like it wasn't trying to be serious. Thanks for the compliments and helpful tips.
