In a time and day where infantile flashes oozing with poorly scripted action sequences, random killings and sexual antics seem to dominate the submission cycle here at Newgrounds, one can only wonder how such a gem fails to attract the proper amount of recognition it so richly deserves. Unfortunately the author's website is down, so the soundtrack can no longer be enjoyed, but with the increased limit on total filesize, maybe it would be possible to submit a merged version? Even without the score, this is outstanding both in content and execution, and should be required viewing for all the script kiddies who cannot even compress their lol/rofl/etc. sound effects to the size of this flash in its entirety. Permanent favourite.

"to bad about the music"

i read the author notes and was disappointed, especially because the follow-up had a song, but why complain it was still incredible. First and foremost for something made in 2001 this had some of the greatest graphics i've ever seen. Though the backgrounds obviously had to be toned done (remember saying this in 2004) the ship and the human (i think its a human at least) were drawn great, and you really captured the vastness of space and how some of the things might look like with your color choices, all so good and so contrasting. The sounds of course were great, always timed exactly right, and fit right in with what was happening, also they were pretty damn good too, and sounded so much better because of my speakers ^_^. Anyways, ok this deserves a 10 for style so much, because i bet there is no way that anything quite like this was made before this, its to bad you don't still make flashes, because you'd be getting a 5/5 from me that's for sure, as you did on this one and its sequal from me. I wish people would realize how good these flahses are and vote higher on them, oh well. THE END

A very artistic film this movie was very well done. The animation was amazingly smooth and was detailed greatly. Also this had some radical backrounds that added more effects to the already well animations. This movie also had sound affects that were simple but went with theme very well. A quiet film thats very peaceful and neat to watch
