In the largest Clock Crew collaberated music video to date, 25 artists, old and new, come together to produce this experimental film, to the sounds of Radiohead's "Fitter happier".
Does Radiohead Justice
Let me just preface by saying that I don't normally like Clock Crew's Stuff, but this is different. What you've done here is, I feel very representative of the feeling that Radiohead was going for with Fitter, Happier. A cynical look at what people feel would lead to a better life. Very nicely done. Now, i would like to address phreeck988; the voice that you constantly bitch about was a simple text to speech editor used in Clarisworks, outdated yes, but effective? Absolutely. Don't go yammering on about things that you don't know or just don't understand. I think that's where all the negativity is coming from. People that don't understand Radiohead's work will not enjoy this flash as much as those that do. Especially because it's Fitter Happier, an extremely experimental song. Other than that, excellent work.
it was bound to happen sooner or later.
Great Team Effort!
Show them what you're made of, and "Unholy", why don't you back yourself up next time instead of giving moronic shit talks to authors?
Back to this submission... Graphics are in the most part well done. Some looked a bit "crafty" but that made the film more interesting as it added a bit of a "freaky" feel to the animation. Sound is fine, except for the computerised voice, which could've been substituted by a human voice (at least for the song!!!). Style gets a ten with no discussion about it. Every animating style in this film was original, creative and somehow humorous, despite the darkness of the film's theme.
Violence gets a 9 for constant presence and for being as horrifying as it was... It left me shaking at some stages...
Interactivity gets a bigger thumbs up than a movie usually does, since you added a great preloader, subtitle options and an "add usernames" feature to the replay button. It was all perfectly functional, so that gets you quite a few points.
Humour is obviously not meant to be there (not entirely) but sinec it was there it gets the marks anyway.
overall, i laughed at some point... I felt like crying a river at others... I was spooked, but fascinated. All this and sometimes forgetting that it was a film made by the ClockCrew. You really went out of your way this time, guys!
A Pig, In a Cage, On Antiboitics
Im a big radiohead fan but never really paid that close attention to Fitter, Happier.....
Job well done, you've re-invograited my love for radiohead.
I'm off to listen to ok computer
This remeins more lock than clock
That was cool and dark flash. I always has thinking when it speaking of Clocks and Locks that Locks are the dark and kindaf bad guys. Like first clock flash what I saw was that where Strawberry clock went to chail and there was that froglock guy who was bad guy. Anyway, in this flash I think the clocks are bad guys and tey are all crazy and all. Still this flash was really cool and psychopath, cool flash and nice work
An indirect Sequel to "The Artist" shows the life of the salaryman
Cornelius & Toots are back, and a Haunted House Ride seems a little spookier than usual!
