Bio Sweeper started off as just a spoof of all the survival horror games, but after working on it for a while it took on a life of it's own.

I was trying to figure out how to make a 3d style survival game in flash and I got all the basics done action script, 3d hallways, monsters, etc.

Then... Err.. my Jaz drive died taking a whole Lotta stuff down with it.

I recovered some models but, losing half a project really takes the spark out of you.

Bio Sweeper has been on the back burner for some time, while I was doing other things. Now I've worked out how to remake it for online play, better action script and a smaller file size.

This trailer is made from the opening movie and teaser movie for the game which got kind a huge cuz of all the picture elements, so I had to redo it for size.

If anyone actually likes it I might just do it as a movie series. Reviews are appreciated...

Promising

Well, this certainly looks like nothing I've seen before and it looks to be quite an interesting game. On the whole, very intriguing. I'll keep an eye out.

Well done

Don't mind the whiners. No matter what you do, you can't please everyone ... but this is going to please most of them ;)

As to your question, I'd say do both a game (series) and movie, ala Resident Evil, et al. What's always seems to work best is going back and forth between the two. This trailer sets the backstory for the game. The game then finishes with some unanswered question, which sets the stage for the next movie(s), which are used to establish the storyline for the second game, and so on. As a bonus, it allows you to go back and forth between working on a game and a movie, giving some variety in the actual work while remaining focused on the same plotline.

Even this backstory still has some background gaps that still need to get filled in ... like why Muzukashii went from whining about the time to an "I'll be right there" upon hearing about Ray's disappearance, what is Melon Corp and why do they have their own :on call" assault team, who trained the Sweepers (save the master is always good for a game basis), when did Kirby become a PDA, and so on. Plenty of loose ends upon which you can base later projects =)

Graphically, I've got one issue with the flash. The variety of different 3D styles you are using is visually jarring. Granted, as a trailer, it's not actually supposed to have an overall flow to it, but switching during the upcoming game(s) or movie(s) is going to mentally break people out of whatever scene you are staging.

I'm looking forward to how this turns out. Good luck!

I love it!

Graphics: Seven, Becasue I give that on pretty good. It would be nice to see more arm and leg movement. but I can't complain. I love the armour!

Style: Wonderful storyline. It makes you want to watch. I didn't have to drag myself into it. It was awesome.

Sound: The Music was also awesome. What was the band/NG User again? Perhaps if you can get some voice actors to do the speaking along with the music. But it was still very HQ stuff.

Violence: Perhaps the fight scene could be extended.

Well, the next two don't really apply. However That pink guy was really cute.

I love it. It is agood peice of work. If it isn't front page, then it will be after some tweaking.
Nice Job.
