!! REQUIRES FLASH PLAYER 8 !! =-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-=-=-=-=-=-=-= If it still doesn't work, download the newest one. Basically this tutorial was made in Flash 8, but I think it'd also work in FlashMX. I hope it's helpful to you :)

"Good Tutorial"
Good tutorial,but You do it a lot harder than u need! you can just make a button one the over frame Make the button a movie clip...in that movie clip make the buttons animation...then simply add this script to the button: on (release) { _root.play(); }
Definetely not, though. If you'd do that, the button would be forced to have play the root movie, not movieclip or anything. This is really nasty if you for instance want to make a site using the keyframes in _root and movieclips for the site pages (and so on)
"good"
this mkes a useful button tut, good job
"A nice tutorial"
Youve put a bit of thought and effort into this tutorial your graphic work was good made the tutorial look very professional however ive given it a low score solely because it is a very narrow topic that was covered if you were to include this as part of a series of tutorials then youll be on a winner but on a whole it was well done deserves to pass
"interesting"
well... that's a nice little flash tutorial, it's well made and simple. Good Work!
"Good Work"
I could see how people new to flash would find this interesting, for a 1st effort i think u did a pretty good job, i think it would be cool if u made more tutorials the same as this but of course o different topics.
