Seriously iv'e been waiting for someone to submit and tutorial on how to make a proper game!!! action script has been hard for me but thanx man can't wait for the real deal!!!! 5r to you mate.
well that sure was a good tut,i learn alot from this, see im one of those ngder who done pretty much everything on this site beside making a flash cause i didnt known how to use a flash program and the actionscript part is still a mystery to me,so that actully help me a bit and i hope to see a other tut. from you with more detail in it,maybe a tut, that show how to add voice or dialogue to a flash would be nice,so for now this tut. is awesome, congrat on underdog of the week, hope to see more tut. from you soon...
tut tut tut, o yeah! i am makin another tut, ill have to dig up the old TUTS folder and work on it, it will have how to import your own voices into the game and pick up items all of that kinda stuff, thanks for the review!
you should have a quick menu so i could go to a certian part of the tut because i dont wanna go through the whole thing, or a fast forrord lol i kant spel ryte
nice tut though, i messed up on a naming him part but works nice..
Some people actually convert flash screens into flash, and work off that, besides it ws missing how to make just items and levels, next time make it an easy tutorial, also why could'nt you show an example of what your finished game piece that was made in the flash showed?
The tutorial takes you step by step through all the needed procedures and for someoen to do that rather than run a slide show is something that is much more appreciated than simple still frame pictures but this incorporates both motion and simple instructions for a game that can be made under 20 minutes and I gotta say I've never seen a better game tutroial than this. Fantastic job, you take a step not to many people take towards total completion.
thankyou, i sqrewed up the jumping teqnique though, i am going to make a bigger and better one with scrolling backrounds and enemies and all of that, thankyou so much for the review
