***This is a sprite movie. If you cant handle sprites, please judge its other qualities :)***

Lilmario here!

Woah. I spent days and days non-stop on this. This is my finest work yet, no doubt about it. It's also over 5 minutes!!! O_O My head hurts with all this flash stuff. I need to lie down -_-;

Well anyway, this has no voices. Mainly because its a bitch to synch those things and I wanted to improve the storyline. I believe that the result will not disappoint. Sit back and enjoy the show! :)

"nice parody"

date: October 23, 2009

this series was awesome, I beat sonic rush so I thought of finding a blaze parody, even though this had good animation, it did have some flaws, like the story was going too quick and didnt have much detail, the fight scenes were too slow and anti-climatic, the music was out of sync, other than those a a few other minor things, it was a pretty awesome series, plus I really loved blaze's voice actor, I mean sprite movies voice actors usually sucked but the was an awesome voice-over

"I can honestly say..."

that this is the best Flash I've seen with those types of Sonic sprites. The "Originals" if you will.

Okay so I just wanna say that the story actually fit pretty well. Especially considering that this sorta've fits in with Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) since no one remembers anything and everything is back to normal at the end of the game.

I'm actually sorta glad that you didn't use voices, to be honest they didn't sound like the characters, and it wasn't that good of voice acting to begin with. I like imagining what the voices would sound like in my head better.

The animation itself wasn't what I thought it'd be, but it was pretty good for those types of Sonic sprites. Next time, you might want to use the more top notch ones. Like the ones used in Super Mario Bros Z.

As for everything else, great job.

Excellent series. I liked how you remade how Sonic first met Blaze. Not to mention, I *loved* the fact that you used DragonForce music in the previous one, as well as this one (I'm a HUGE DragonForce fanatic. :D). It would be AWESOME if you were to make a sequel (or something along those lines); no, wait, lemme rephrase that,,,
I ORDER YOU TO MAKE A SEQUEL, GOT IT? >:T XD Nah, just kidding. I'll keep an eye out for any of your newer stuff. Keep up the great work!

"I liked It!"

Good story. Though somewhat simple, I enjoyed it a great deal. I'm grading the whole series here, so I apologize if I may come across as a little naggy.

I took off a point for the inconsistency of the voice work in the second. If it's in that one, I was sort of expecting it here.

I'm willing to look the other way for the sprite models since it is still absurdly difficult to find quality Blaze sprites in the Sonic 3 style.

The animation for part three definitely showed your improvement over time. It was smooth and clear, and I'm marveling at how you manipulated the backgrounds so they themselves had movement and seemed alive.

Initially I thought it was annoying how short the three parts were, Then I thought you probably had more important things to tend to besides the animation.

Your use of music was superb. You were able to find a wide array of music to fit the many situations throughout the series. The music didn't just fit, it fit WELL. Albeit the editing for the music could be improved a little, but not by much.

By the way. Would you mind if I asked where you got the song "Robotniks Lament" from? It was used in part 2 and just sent chills down my spine. It was so perfect for that "Ha ha, I have a weapon you won't fight" attitude Robotnik had.

And I have to give special acknowledgment to the credits for part three. The imagery of the Sol Emeralds floating down and restoring life to each zones, matched with the music, and matched with the different pages of the credits had a glorious sense of finality of the adventure. Yet it also left the door open for more stories and adventures in the future.

I hope that helped.

That was a stunning review, thank you! :D

Robotnik's Lament I acquired from vgmix.com, however the site has since had a redesign and has lost many of its music files. They're working on a backup though, keep your eyes peeled.

Again thanks for that review, was very informative and helpful. I haven't been on newgrounds in ages, and havent done a sprite flash since mid-'08, but I was checking out my old animaions and to my shock and suprise the Blaze series was in the mid 4's, score wise :O:P

Sprites are strange simply because they were created before Rush even came out, I wanted to be the first to use her :D
