well, I've been retired from making real flash for a while now, and I figured that now was as good a time as any to jump back in. I spent quite a long time animating this, it's 5400+ frams not counting the credits, animated at 24 fps. personally I'm proud of the way it turned out, but I'll let you be the judge of how well you think it turned out. Well thats all that can be said, so this is DarkMatterClock submitting at midnight and wishing you a Merry Clockmas.

Happy clockmas

Realy great movie, made my heart warm. (i think im a clock fan now ^^)
Only question is, where's Strawberry Clock?

DarkMatterClock responds:

the way i figured it...basically every other clock movie to come out for clockmas was gonna star SBC, so why not be different? but hey, i did include him kinda...i outlined him in the stars, didnt you see?

Great submission

The graphics looked very impressive. They looked crisp and moved fluidly, as well as fit in with the timing of the music quite well. The overall style was well executed, and it was great to see the Clock Crew celebrating Christmas like people in real life. The music was good (was that the song from the "Love Actually" soundtrack?), and went well with the animation. There were many moments that raised a chuckle, such as to show the lighter side to Christmas has some funny events. So overall, I enjoyed this thoroughly. Well done.

DarkMatterClock responds:

thank you very much for all the positive feedback, it really helps to know where my strong points are.

Beautiful

This made me smile. My issues with the lack of easing and the slight choppiness of the jumping aside, this was a really cool and well-put together movie, all tied together beautifully by the wicked AS menus and such, it was really quite skillful. Good work!

DarkMatterClock responds:

thanks, i appreciate it...see, what happened was that the jumping animation clips were done right when i started the project, when i hadnt used flash in a long time...so they were ny easing back in period...and i didnt have time to re-work them at the end :( but i dont think they came out tooo badly.
