This took me way longer to finish than I planned.

Blasted real life always gets in the way, anyway, here's part 3, which basically covers issues 2 through 5 of the actual comic in which absolutley nothing happens. Stuff happens at the end so part 4 should be marginally more exciting.

Hope you enjoy it, and here's hoping the next one won't take quite so long.

note: Layla's last name is wrong, but that's intentional. It's an obscure joke, hopefully someone will get it.

Excellent as always

I've been following this every time a new one comes to newgrounds. Thank you for this series. I have been a big fan and impressed by your joke with the McGuffin name. To the readers that might be new to this. Please watch the rest if your a fan of the comics of X-men. This flash artist has delightfully poke a wee bit a fun as to how the comics are brought to life in his series of flash stopping tunes. Keep up the series the broad base of fans will surely keep on growing.

The joke folks is this. MacGuffin was written by Angus McPhail. However the more popular notions of it was used by Alfred Hitchcock. MacGuffin means it's nothing to the plot at all yet uses it to move things quickly through any plot line. There is an scottish joke that runs with it:

Two men in a train. One man says, 'What's that package up there in the baggage rack?' And the other answers, 'Oh that's a McGuffin.' The first one asks 'What's a McGuffin?' 'Well' the other man says, 'It's an apparatus for trapping lions in the Scottish Highlands.' The first man says, 'But there are no lions in the Scottish Highlands,' and the other one answers 'Well, then that's no McGuffin!'

I remember this joke in our media class. Good use of this pun!

Part 3

Another great job Matt. Too true, HoM kinda took its sweet time to get where it needed to be. But still worth a read. *and i believe beefcake got the right answer, kudos to them.

Looking forward to part 4.
