A few months have passed and now we have finnished this. It took us (-KJdunwoody-,Me=BORKOYz and Dry_Water) so long because of contact problems, name changes, Flash 8 and different layouts. We Worked hard to make this game and theres about 300 items, 3 songs to listen to and many more.
If you know anyway to improve the game reviews would be helpful.

I love the concept, dressup a finger is a pretty unique idea. The ammount of items to use is huge as well, and varied, also a great bunch of music with it. Looking forward to the next one! Keep it up!

"An A for Effort and Presentation!"

Graphics -- This was very visually appealing. The menus looked very professional and the effects were way above average for a Dress-Up game. The clothes could use some improvement, however they were still of fairly good quality. 7.5/10 -> 8/10

Style -- I liked the concept. Its always nice to see over-done things brought back and re-invented. Unfortunately, however, it is another dress up game and they have been done to death. In general, I liked the style of the game. I just thing you should try to stray away from the Dress-Up idea. 6/10

Sound -- The music was good. It was enjoyable to listen to and didn't makie me want to turn of the speakers. 8/10.

Violence -- N/A

Intercativity -- This is where the game shines. Granted, every dress-up game is interactive. However, ypu gave the player the option to change the layer of each item. This shows that you really out a lot of effort into the intuitiveness of the game. That feature thoroughly impressed me and allowed this game to stand out among many others of this genre. 8/10.

Humour -- Dressing up a finger. Pretty damn funny. 7/10

Overall -- A good idea with excellent opening animations, menus & sounds. You have a lot of potential. Keep up the good work!

7.4/10 -> 7/10

play experience
=============

Started up, watched credits, read instructions, checked out options, started game, looked at some items, placed a few on the finger, changed song, deleted items, changed depths, repeated placing and deleting, looked at all items, closed window.

Aspects (rated from ----- to +++++)
===========================

++: Nice-looking intro
-: though a bit slow

--: Credits move way too slow. If they were 2x the speed, folk could still read them easily and more would actually sit and do so.

--: text in 'instructions' box seems way too large. Reading 2 lines at a time seems ridiculous.

-----: when scrolling through items, holding the button doesn't always seem to work.

+: all stuff is well drawn.

++: media player is really nicely designed (functionality and art)

+++: the way we place stuff, delete and swap depths is really impressive and works well.

++: amusing idea.

-----: As I see it, dress ups merely offer a way to see what ideas the author came up with then check out how they look next to each other. I often just feel it not worth the bother. I mean, I can visualise how those things match in my head... I suppose I just don't enjoy most dress-ups. It seems not that exciting a thing to base a game on...

overall
==============

It seems like a great game compared to the shittiness of the genre it's part of. Just didn't interest me.

Sorry. I realise a fair amount of work probably went into it.

"Nicely made, but there are a few problems..."

date: December 22, 2005

This is a nice, well-made flash. The graphics were excellent, and the idea was original. One could tell that a lot of time and effort was put into the game, which is just awesome ^_^

Only problem I have is that the scroll buttons move way too slow. Perhaps you could fix this by allowing users to hold down the mouse click on an arrow to cause it to scroll down continuously, as it is in MS?

Altogether great job, guys.

Very cool Idea of dressing up a flick off hand. I've never seen anything like this before. The music was good and graphics were drawn well. good work.
