Your targets:
1) Keep the sleigh flying for as long as possible
2) Correctly despatch gifts/coal to earn Elf Points
3) Visit the Elf Shop (press SPACE) and max out the upgradeable features
4) Get your name at the top of the online scoreboard
5) Complete all 30 levels to get 100000 bonus and 1000 points for each remaining Elf Point.

Well here's my opinion...
Considering most of the people just read the difficult instructions and said fuck this, I thought it was pretty damn good.
While I admit, not a game for the holidays (no offense) but it's fun. There really wasn't an RPG element, but then I just forgot about it. The difficulty curve flew straight up when I got to level 3 or 4. Most of the time the kids threw weak snowballs. The Elf points (currency) was easy to earn, the first time I went on the screen I had 35 elf points! Though the depth in the upgrades weren't completely cool, they were useful. Replay value I would have to say low, unless somebody wanted to beat they're high score.
So while the game isn't perfect, it's a good addition to Newgrounds, just not to the holiday section, considering it seemed you made fun of kids without a home and called them "naughty."
But still, it's an excellent game, just doesn't seem complete, and you should try to fix that issue in the game....
