I LOVED IT! :DD YOU NEED TO MAKE MORE :DDD
While I was initially impressed by the art style, the inevitable repetitive gameplay and logical fallacies really kept me from enjoying this.
I was linked this game by the reviewer below because I'm working on a short IF game with a sort of similar premise, and I have to agree with what he said, it's the atmosphere and sense of dread that really makes this. Though I don't necessarily think it needs to be expanded, there's nothing wrong with an interactive 'experience' as opposed to a game - adding in familiar adventure elements might water down the tension. (though as I played I admit I did find it a little distracting how the most glaringly obvious action was completely impossible...no quickly leave the house, go to a neighbor's and call the police option, anticlimatic as it might be? :P)
The tension and the atmosphere you were able to create was great, I found this genuinely unsettling in a way I've yet to see any other game here pull off, but the game is just too short, and deaths get repetitive. You have the makings of something amazing here, I really hope you decide to expand it one day and give it a proper ending.
but i hate it cuz i keep dying. and i really dont get the plot.
Context? Context is for casuals.
